Possibly back during the Tang Dynasty, a porcelain birdhouse similar to this one served as a caged home for the Emperor’s favorite birds. However, we think its patterned beauty deserves a more prominent place either indoors or out. Fill it with votive candles or use it as a bird feeder. The hook is more decorative than functional, so we recommend placing it on a flat surface. Color will vary slightly.
