Our candleholder is reminiscent of a menorah, an icon of Jewish tradition and a symbol for the State of Israel. Although most Chanukah menorahs have nine branches, our candleholder has seven, common a some menorahs. The celebratory menorah used during Chanukah has nine branches instead of seven, commemorating the eight miracle days.
