  • For an elegant addition to a room
  • Gilt finish brings shine
  • Hand-carved edges add a sophisticated touch

Handcrafted wood with a gilt finish frame this looking glass. Its sophisticated and elegant design is "mirrored" after a French antique we found during a trip to The Paris Flea. The original dates from around 1840, in the reign of Louis-Philippe I of France. Our copy is quite an astounding reproduction, with a shimmering gold finish, similar to its predecessor.

nice mirror different color

I bought this mirror and waited over a month for it to arrive as it was backordered. I received it before the expected arrive date which was nice. The mirror is of good quality very heavy and VERY large. The dimensions are right but for some reason it just looks so much bigger in person. Im not crazy about the color of the mirror frame. Its not as light of a gold as in the pictures. Its much more of a dark fake gold giving it an ornate vibe. And because of that it doesnt go with the rest of my furniture or decor. I wish it wasnt so large and bulky or Id probably return it. Its great quality just not what I was expecting.

Poor hardware quality

I was so excited to find this mirror at this price. I have looked for months for this Louis Philippe style. This one is beautiful but when we tried to hang it the bracket pulled right out of the frame. I could bend the metal bracket with my own hands. We had to return the mirror because even if I came up with some other way to hang it I was afraid it may eventually fall and cause damage to the beautiful sideboard it was to hang over. -Disappointed
