Love this coffee table!

I love this table! I have had it for two years and with minor maintenance, oiling the wood, it looks the same as when I purchased it. I purchased this table from the Wisteria outlet and it was flat packed when I picked it up. This made it so much easier to assemble! Some reviewers commented that the pieces come apart - I think this is great! I am moving and being able to remove the planks, top, drawers, etc. is much better than trying to move a 250+ lbs coffee table.

Great table, but wipe it down right away!

What we love: whimsical; vintage look; easier to set up than we expected as directions were included and we just lifted it on to an ottoman and attached wheels from the bottom. What we did not expect: drawers are not very deep--3 inches; wheels are plastic; wood is covered with a thin layer of black paint so it is not as much brown as it is mottled black; lots of black stuff came off table when we first set it up; accessorizing the middle shelf is trickier than I thought just beause so few trays, baskets, etc. are even close to 30 inches.

LOVE this table!

First of all, thank you to the previous reviewer. Your review helped make our coffee table transition smooth. This is such a cool table...rustic, stout & a touch of whimsy all in one. Its VERY heavy and sturdy. They even include the wrench to make attaching the casters so convenient. Do what the first reviewer said about removing the bottom planks & keep them in order-I also removed the drawers- before lifting up to attach casters. It also is fantastic being able to effortlessly move this highly functional table over for some Wii action now! Wisteria was SUPER fast and careful with shipping. Thank you! We are VERY pleased.

Update on Love Hate The Table

Now that the assemble portion has passed I do have to say I love the table. It is wonderful and functional. We love the size of it in front of our sofa which is in front of our fireplace. Looking forward to spending winters around the table.

Love Hate this table!

I have had my eye on this table for two years. When I saw that it was out of stock and back ordered I thought Id better get it or Ill never get it. It just arrived and the driver told me the package weighed 250 pounds. I only had to put on the wheels but there were no instructions included. It comes with a wrench which is a hint but how do you turn over a 200 pound table to put on wheels. When I did all the boards fell out of the first shelf and they are heavy. I tried to remove the drawers and a knob bent in the falling chaos. Turns out its nailed in - not antique or modern application that I know of. It left a protruding pointy nail sticking out. Hammered it back on as best I could. If it came with instructions - they could have said remove top layer -its not attached - warning: 75 pounds! remove loose panels on second shelf and drawers. attach wheels with wrench and reassemble. But there were no directions. It is very, very heavy and I am a very strong woman. I cannot get the panels back in place as they are mishapen part of the charm. I love Wisterias products but this is my first furniture purchase. I cant say if I love the table yet as Im still overwhelmed by the massiveness of the project. It is much much darker wood than pictured too. I have a chocolate brown shag rug and Im affraid I thought I was getting a lighter wood table. Ill have to change that out or lighten the wood panels myself which I might do.
