A variation of our rectangular German silver metal coffee table, this square table is quite suitable for smaller spaces. A 20th century design, the table has rounded corners and decorative paisley motif etching.

Pretty in the catalog, but |
| My table is not what Id hoped. If I hadnt bought it more than a month ago, Id return it. Im disappointed.
After only a couple of months, the finish is starting to change to a funny green in spots. The silver is also chipping in places around the edges. I dont have kids or animals, and it gets no excessive wear and tear, so this is unexpected.
The cross braces are not of the same material as the rest of the table they just look like steel, so they look cheap, and do not stand up well to having an item heavier than 5 lbs on the table. I find I have to adjust them all the time.
If you want something that looks like the image of the table online, this is not it. If you just want a prettyish piece that you will not actually use, and can handle the cheap cross braces, and dont mind waxing it to protect the finish, then you might think this is OK. I didnt, for the price. |
