Even nicer than the picture

by
These tables are very nice. The finish on the wood really gives it depth and they are unique. I bought two and will place them next to each other instead of purchasing one long console table. My only reservation--therefore 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the packaging of the item is not as good as it needs to be. I ordered two. The first one arrived and it was cracked in a couple places. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the other one is not cracked.

Great buy on distinctive tables

by
I ordered two of these for alcoves near each other. I was leary ordering such large items over the internet from a company I didnt know but decided to take a chance as they were such a good price. I specified in my order to make sure they were the same color as a previous clients review said hers were not exactly the same. Except for a little ding in the bottom of the base on one they came in the same color and looked wonderful. The small ding did not show when I placed it in the alcove and again for the price I didnt complain. The tables look wonderful - they are such an unusual shape and pewter color. Great buy for the price.

Not what is described

by
The blog they link to says it has subtle gray coloring and the picture made it look like wood with a gray wash. What arrived was a plastic feeling table with several layers of dark gray paint an extra piece of wood as part of the leg construction clearly visible making it look less sleak and a funny odor that made our entire house smell like chemicals. It was very disappointing. On the phone customer service said the new shipment from the manufacturer was a bit different. Despite saying they would review it I still had to pay the shipping both ways which I found annoying since they did not ship what I had ordered.
