Published in the mid-19th century, "Ferns: British & Exotic" was researched and written by naturalist E.J. Lowe. All the artwork, such as the one that was the inspiration for our Perennial Fern Print, was created by A.F. Lydon. The book was comprised of several block-printed pages of various types of ferns, a process called chromoxylography. Once the blocking was completed, detailing was added by hand. This print is our homage to this obsolete craft. It is framed in polished white wood with hanging hooks in the back. See our coordinating fern prints Japanese Fernand Hawaiian Fern.

Our Perennial Fern Print is a reproduced piece from “Ferns: British & Exotic,” a book of several block-printed ferns. Framed and ready to hang.

Broken frame twice

I love this picture and have been waiting for it to be off of backorder since June. Unfortunately it has arrived damaged twice in exactly the same spot! I dont know if Wisteria just shipped me my same damaged print back or what happened but twice is enough for me. I really wanted this to work. This is also very heavy so be careful if you have plaster walls.
