Very interesting itemI bought two of these to put on a modern fireplace mantle. They look very cool and each is very different. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that one of the lamps had a large chip towards the rear of the lamp so it wont stand upright without something wedged under the back corner. I know theyre old and imperfect but its kind of inconvenient.

Romantic and SpiritualI have one on the low stone wall overlooking the river. Its lovely and I like the old feel of it. Perhaps so many people praying, sending and receiving blessings, part of someones home. Wonderful.

A treasureI have been eyeing these lamps for a couple of years and finally broke down and bought one. I am so impressed I will definitely buy more for my portico. The lamp is heavy, heavy stone. It has all the evidence of age including a little dirt in the mix! Very beautiful and unique. I am glad I finally made this purchase.
