These are very old handcarved wood capitals (ornate column tops from very old buildings). Even as I write, our friends are rescuing them from demolition sites in India...just a few steps ahead of the bulldozer. Who knows what style will arrive next. We only know it’ll look great holding up anything but a roof. Consider it an endangered architectural piece looking for a new home. Yours, maybe. Sizes, colors, and designs vary.
