eCommerce Marketing Associate

Wisteria is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional for the position of eCommerce Marketing Associate. The person in this role will assist in eCommerce and marketing strategy, website content management, buying behavior analysis, and other data analysis initiatives.

This person must be a tech savvy individual who has experience with eCommerce and retail operations. This position reports to the Director of eCommerce.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate product information and images on website and upload new content
  • Execute website promotions including promo codes, discount pricing and communicating promotion calendar to internal departments
  • Track and measure email campaign and promotion performance
  • Assist in the development and execution of various marketing and eCommerce strategies
  • Work with all internal departments to insure consistency and accuracy of website
  • Other duties as assigned

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience

  • 2+ years of eCommerce and/or retail marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or business, with significant exposure to marketing and eCommerce strategy
  • Strong familiarity with Internet tools and technologies, including email service providers, shopping cart software, search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, etc.
  • Strong Proficiency in MSFT Office tools, including strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access and tools for presentation of data and trends
  • Experience with reporting and tracking in Google Analytics
  • Some working knowledge of HTML and other related Internet tools
  • Exposure to online marketing, with an emphasis on eCommerce content management

Help Desk Technician

Wisteria is looking to hire a Help Desk Technician. The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company’s PCs, Macs, printers, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT help desk support system
  • Monitor help desk for case assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
  • Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software
  • Document internal procedures
  • Assist with onboarding of new users
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
  • Report issues to the Service Desk for escalation
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required

Director of eCommerce

The successful candidate for Director of eCommerce will possess strong organizational skills, analytical skills, and be a creative problem solver. The Director of eCommerce is responsible for the strategy, tactics and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for Wisteria that will translate into sales. In addition, the Director of eCommerce is responsible for maintaining the budget and increasing revenues and profits. A strong, organized, “big picture thinker” is necessary to help communicate initiatives, projects, and concepts throughout the organization. This individual must have ecommerce, email campaign deployment, and project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all marketing aspects as it relates to ecommerce and email.
  • Creating/ implementing annual and quarterly strategic and tactical eCommerce marketing plans.
  • Responsible for competitive analysis and marketing strategy.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the eCommerce department and implement improvements.
  • Manage and train existing and new eCommerce staff.
  • Ensure timely and effective execution of the eCommerce marketing tactics and programs.
  • Create and maintain eCommerce marketing budgets.
  • Generate a monthly summary report and comprehensive quarterly and annual eCommerce marketing reports.
  • Increase and maintain Wisteria’s e-commerce presence by increasing conversion rates and assisting in making wisteria.com a destination to buy, teach and entertain customers.
  • Responsible for executing strategic SEO initiatives along with Web Site Optimization (META, Title, Copy Recommendations etc…)
  • Work with the Creative, Merchandising, and Design & Development department to ensure a consistent look and voice among all channels.
  • Disseminate information throughout the company internally as well throughout all media outlets externally.
  • Excellent communication with all Vice Presidents and Directors as well as all members of the company.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience

  • 5 or more years experience as upper level Marketing Director.
  • 5 or more years experience and a high level of proficiency in project management.
  • 3 or more years experience creating strategic plans for Ecommerce, Email, and Web revenue growth.
  • Extensive knowledge in creating and maintaining an eCommerce marketing plan and calendar.
  • Extensive knowledge in creating and following an eCommerce budget and revenue budget.
  • Extensive knowledge in statistics and analysis of all Ecommerce initiatives
  • Extensive knowledge in creative and conceptual problem-solving.
  • Extensive knowledge of ecommerce and web best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Director of Project Management

Wisteria is hiring a Director of Project Management, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities will range from strategic systems infrastructure planning, project management, business process improvement/innovation, systems risk management, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Head of projects management and lead of company-wide projects which involves corporate IT infrastructure, ERP system development, website design and E-commerce solutions.
  • Oversee IT and E-commerce departments’ daily operations and staff management.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Communicate expectations for the roles and responsibilities of each team member
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Oversee all IT and E-commerce systems to ensure uninterrupted 24 X 7 business operations.
  • Design and maintain systems that collect, organize and accurately report data from all of Wisteria’s revenue channels.
  • Investigate technological opportunities, develop a vision for future IT and E-commerce solutions and spearhead efforts to implement those solutions.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems or Computer Sciences
  • 5 + Years of structured project management experience
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to address technical issues in both technical and non-technical terms
  • Ability to quickly and accurately develop ad-hoc reports.
  • Experience in data management, systems implementation, and analysis and redesign of business processes highly desired.
  • Proven success managing tight deadlines with extremely high quality standards
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or E-commerce
