Copy Manager

Wisteria is looking to hire a Copy Manager. This position will report directly to the Creative Director. The main function of this role is to concept, create, edit, proofread and correct unique content for our catalog, product stories, promotional collateral, and website.

A successful candidate will have exceptional creative and technical writing skills and must be able to interpret and communicate with the voice of the Wisteria brand.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience as a writer, communicator, and content creator
  • A Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Journalism, English, Marketing, or other relevant discipline
  • Integrated (traditional and digital) portfolio with original, break-through work
  • Experience with writing for a catalog a plus, but not mandatory

Brand Content Manager

Wisteria is looking to hire a Brand Content Manager to join its Ecommerce/Marketing team. The primary objective of this role is to create, build and execute effective brand content marketing to acquire new customers, retain current customers and increase engagement in all digital channels, including social media. This position will plan, develop and execute content as well as analyze the success of campaigns and report findings to the appropriate teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create branded content to support ongoing marketing initiatives to acquire new customers and increase retention with existing customers
  • Be the voice of Wisteria through creating content on our blog, website, social media, and partnerships
  • Manage social media content strategy to support engagement, SEO and brand awareness
  • Track and measure social media campaigns. Making changes as need to improve performance and reporting on progress
  • Manage social media vendors and relationships, including affiliate program
  • Proactively identify and evaluate social media opportunities
  • Stay current on social media tools, platforms and industry trends

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience

  • 2 years’ experience in social media marketing and campaign development
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective markets and how each platform can be utilized in different scenarios
  • Excellent writing and language skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the confidence to take lead and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Credible social customer service techniques. Great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business with significant exposure to marketing and ecommerce
  • Exposure to digital marketing, with an emphasis on social media marketing and content development

Front End Web Developer

Wisteria is looking to hire a Front End Web Developer to join the Ecommerce department. This role will primarily build new ecommerce features and solve problems using JavaScript, but will require some knowledge of various other languages, including HTML, CSS, XML, and SQL. NetSuite experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Front End solutions, primarily new web features, as part of ecommerce/marketing team
  • Test, troubleshoot and repair any defects/issues to deliver defect-free code to production
  • Work closely with designers to deliver the most efficient implementation in meeting their designs
  • Create and edit HTML/CSS for website and email templates based on a visual design

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience with the latest Front End technologies
  • Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, including common libraries such as jQuery, Backbone, Underscore, RequireJS, and the Bootstrap framework
  • Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON and XML
  • Understanding of responsive web design and how it impacts code and user experience
  • Experience in common third-party APIs and A/B testing methods
  • NetSuite, SuiteCommerce Advanced experience is a plus
