Staff Accountant

We are searching for an energetic, professional and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team. The successful candidate will be detail oriented and possess strong organizational and analytical skills. The Staff Accountant will manage merchandising vendor payments, compute product profitability analysis and assist with month-end closing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage merchandising vendor payments, which include final approval of all merchandising vendor invoices, wire payment preparation, reconciliation of  merchandising vendor payables & related accounts  (such as prepaid deposit, credit memos)
  • Reconcile Credit Card statements
  • Reconcile other assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Compute monthly product profitability and square inch analysis
  • Assist with misc. ad hoc projects

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university

Assistant Store Manager

We are searching for an energetic, professional, and dedicated person to become Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be a master of product, directing store staff and have a strong sales personality.

 

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Wisteria Store, including training and scheduling the sales staff, product management and communicating effectively with all departments.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively managing, directing and training the store staff.
  • Embodying and teaching excellent customer service skills.
  • Meeting financial goals of the retail store.
  • Achieving revenue and margin goals.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory.
  • Ensuring the Wisteria brand is portrayed throughout the store.
  • Developing strong communication links between departments.
  • Daily financial paperwork and expediting the “end of day” reconciliation.
  • All opening and closing duties
  • Weekly schedule
  • Handling complex customer service issues
  • Compiling payroll information for accounting department

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience:

We are looking for an individual with 3+ years of retail management experience who exemplifies the Wisteria brand.

  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Experienced user of all Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Strategic and independent thinking, planning, and follow-through skills.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to change in priorities.
  • Strong design and display skills
  • Ability to motivate and teach sales to the staff.

This is a full time position that may include working more than 40 hours a week.

Visual Merchandiser, Retail Store

Wisteria is searching for an innovative, creative, and collaborative person for our Visual Merchandiser position.

The Visual Merchandiser, in collaboration with the Visual Merchandise Manager, is responsible for maintaining creative vignettes and displays that represent the Wisteria Brand and maximize product exposure and sales in our retail store on Cedar Springs.
