Cooper fell in love with all six handcarved wooden animals. It took some tears to persuade him they are a tad too delicate for rough derby games (these are not intended for young children). For now, they’re back on a shelf for when he is a mature kid of about my age and can enjoy them properly. Each critter is hand carved from Chinese Linden wood. The detailed expressions and hand-painted touches make them a whimsical addition to any shelf. To meet the Derby critters friends please see the Forest Critters (W1591).
