This faithful copy of an iron draftsman stool from France in the early 1900s makes a great stool, and in our house, is Cooper’s favorite. Made with authentic vintage engineering, the seat may become unstable if extended too high; please use caution when raising the seat.
- Sleek finish
- Inspired by a French draftsman stool
- Functional design

Nice but not very practical |
| After extensively searchng for industrial style stools for our rustic farmhouse kitchen, we chose three of these from Wisteria. I sometimes go for style over comfort, but in this case, the stools are not comfortable at all. The diameter of the seat is too small, and your feet dont touch the ground & dangle awkwardly when sitting. When the stool spirals up to allow for counter-height seating, the stool is almost fully extended and the seat rocks back & forth. Im not one to usually complain, but these are not designed for comfort at all...They seem very petite and Im not a large person by any means. Unfortunately we will be returning these. Wonder how much shipping will be. ugh! |

pretty to look at, but no footrest and VERY uncomfortable |
| I just took my stool out of the box. Its heavy and sturdy and will look great in my French kitchen. BUT....its very uncomfortable, and I plan to use it at my computer station in the kitchen. Not only is the seat uncomfortable to sit on, theres not really a comfortable footrest on the lower portion, a feature that most barstools offer, and your legs just kind of hang there until they fall asleep. Im considering returning it. Its very disappointing, as I have been so looking forward to receiving this stool. |

Love them! |
| These stools are very sturdy! The style is just what I needed to break up my overly wooded house-wood floors, cabinets, tables, etc. I love the rustic, handmade nature of them and couldnt be happier with my purchase. |

good quality for the price |
| I recently received the 2 stools I ordered and I feel that they are well made for the price. Heavy enough to feel substantial but not so heavy that they can not be easily lifted. The seat does not wobble when you sit on it - which was my fear. And the welding is done well.
The style didnt work with my interior, but overall I thought these were a good buy. May use them in a different room. |
