Unlike anything we’d ever seen, this mirror is framed with a single row of miniature shells surrounded by hundreds of larger, old oyster shells in all their naturally delicate yet rustic beauty. Because each shell is hand-applied, each mirror will vary. No two are alike.

Grotto mirror
I bought this mirror because it resembles old garden grottoes. I thought by the picture the shells would be more gray, bluish and lavender, but it is however shades of brown & gold. I loved it on the wall versus when I first saw it in the box. Overall I give it a thumbs up. It is a fanciful folly, not to be repeated all over ones house. It makes an elegant and exotic statement.
