This replica comes from the most comprehensive work on North American trees ever created. In the dawn of the 19th century, Francois Andre Michaux was commissioned by the French government to survey the forests of North America. What came out of his exploration was a collection of color drawings called "The North American Sylva." Michaux partnered with master botanical artists Pierre Joseph Redoute and Pancrace Bessa to create each hand-colored image. Our Evergreen Wall Art showcases the intricate handmade details, framed and ready to hang.
