The Position

Wisteria and OKA, two premium interior lifestyle brands, are looking for a dedicated person to lead our Operations team, to drive operational excellence in our current distribution center and to support an aggressive growth plan for our brick and mortar stores. Both Wisteria and OKA were recently acquired by Investindustrial (www.investindustrial.com) with plans to quickly expand their physical retail locations throughout the U.S. as well as to grow their online and catalog business. Both companies share a passion for excellent product design, creating an engaging customer experience and for growing our direct-to-consumer business.

As a key member of the Executive Team, you will be responsible for ensuring success in all operational areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fulfillment and Distribution Center(s)
  • Inbound/Outbound Logistics
  • Driving Efficiency Gains Throughout the Organization
  • Packaging and Delivery
  • Wisteria Facilities Management and Safety
  • Physical Inventory Control
  • Core IT and Systems Knowledge
  • On-site Management of the IT Department
  • Project Management throughout the Organization

You’ll also be expected to:

  • Know how to get the best out of our people
  • Communicate expectations for the roles and responsibilities of each team member
  • Identify issues of the company and work with the leadership to solve them
  • Provide accountability to leadership team and follow up on assignments of others
  • Run weekly meetings
  • Effectively integrate all major functions within Wisteria and OKA
  • Work closely with the Global Supply Chain to deliver the proper operational strategy
  • Work closely with the Global CTO supporting all of the US IT projects
  • Track key performance indicators and make course corrections as needed
  • Track performance of appropriate metrics for each team member
  • Follow through on commitments made by Wisteria and OKA Leadership Team
  • Communicate to the company as a whole and provide clear direction

The Position:

Wisteria and OKA, two high-end interior lifestyle brands, are looking for an experienced Director of Interior Design / Trade Services to effectively lead and develop the strategy, sales and the day to day management of Wisteria and OKA US Trade Services Program. Both companies share a passion for excellent product design, creating an engaging customer experience and for growing a direct-to-consumer business.

Responsibilities include:

  • All Trade Revenue
    • Designer Trade Program: Sales to accredited Interior Designers
    • In-Store Interior Design Services: Store Design Staff providing Interior Design Services directly to Wisteria store customers
    • Catalog/Web Interior Design Services: Creating a pilot program to offer design services to our web-based customers
    • Commercial Trade Program: B2B sales through Hospitality (hotels, restaurants, etc.) and Wholesale channels
  • ROI and profitability goals for all Trade channels
  • Marketing strategy for all four channels
  • Implement and direct clear sales, marketing, and distribution strategy for all trade programs
  • Leadership, Management, and Accountability

You'll also be expected to:

  • Help create and meet annual budget goals for each program
  • Train staff and ensure Trade and Interior Design services represent Wisteria Brand
  • Provide exceptional customer service levels for all channels
  • Work with Marketing Department to develop initiatives to generate sales and attract/ retain clients for Trade and Interior Design Services
  • Present new product development ideas to Design Team that represent the needs of Interior Design or Trade clients
  • Work closely with Wisteria Design/Development Team to ensure product for Trade and Design Services meet necessary safety and quality standards
  • Create a “Rare Bird” (unusual, one-of-a-kind finds) program for Trade Services
  • Represent Wisteria at Trade Shows targeting hospitality, design firms, etc.

The Position:

Wisteria, a high-end interior lifestyle band, is looking for an experienced and talented Store Manager to create a unique and meaningful retail experience in our new Houston Texas store- coming soon! The Store Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Wisteria store including staff management, inventory control, meeting revenue goals and provide the Wisteria customer with an excellent shopping experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet store revenue and margin goals

The Position:

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of main distribution warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong operation background with excellent time-management, organizational, and communication skills in order to effectively interface with other departments throughout the company. This candidate needs to be a high energy individual with a strong management presence and the ability to develop and train a strong team.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Full Warehouse Responsibility

You'll also be expected to:

  • Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities

  • Fulfill inventory transfers between categories and multi-locations
  • Maintain good relationship with shipping carriers, reduce cost of outbound shipping
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety codes

  • Being able to lead a warehouse team of up to forty employees
  • Being able to develop employees through coaching and mentoring
  • Maintain good relationship with City of Farmers Branch and neighbors

The Position:

The Assistant Buyer is responsible for all aspects of the active product life cycle within the assigned product category.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and determine inventory needs to maximize company revenue, margin and turn. Analysis to be completed at SKU, vendor and larger category or trend level
  • Complete vendor and category recaps to provide information on past performance and future opportunities
  • Be the owner and champion of all products from assigned country. This will entail collecting and managing product information for use by all cross functional departments
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current and future product assortment as it relates to the general marketplace, including trends, price and quality; react accordingly to impact sales and gross margin.
  • Write, detail and follow-up on product and sample purchase orders and delivery timelines.

You'll also be expected to:

  • Perform market analysis and competitive shop to assist Director of Merchandising in the development of future merchandise strategies and assortments
  • Analysis for specific vendors and product
    • Revenue and margin
    • Prepare new buys and reorders
    • Retail changes and cost changes
    • Compiling and reviewing new and existing product sales
    • Markdowns and stock levels
    • Find proactive solutions to support improvement for key department metrics

  • Strong data management skills- including intermediate capabilities with Excel and Word

  • Strong analytical skills- must be able to assemble and interpret data, problem solve and deliver insights and recommendations
