Marketing Department Intern

Learning Opportunities

  • Experience with marketing project management
  • Experience with multi-channel marketing, product lifecycles, and marketing plans
  • Experience with PR, Events, Charity Initiatives, Social and Digital Graphic Designing

Responsibilities

  • Assist with production and planning of various print ads, store signs, and collateral pieces
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, email, PR and web)
  • Prepare promotional presentations
  • Help coordinating PR events
  • Coordinate charity initiatives and partnership projects
  • Assist with creation of blog posts, press releases, and Look-Books

Requirements

  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics, Adobe, and Google Adwords)
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree

Hours

  • Flexible to meet intern's needs, but we would like to have a consistent schedule from week to week. For example: Tues and Thurs noon - 5, and Wed all day, and that would be the schedule every week.

This is an unpaid internship. We are happy to work with your school if you have the opportunity to earn course credit.
