This white linen pillow cover features a blue pattern inspired by the seaside and tropical islands. It was screenprinted by hand, an ancient technique from the 10th century.

To create this hand-crafted, seaside-inspired pillow cover, artists first roll out a bolt of fabric and then cover it with a patterned screen. Dye is poured on top, and then the excess is wiped away to leave behind the design you see here. This technique has been around since the 10th century and continues to inspire today.
