Mughal architecture is known for large domes, slender minarets at the corners, massive halls, large vaulted gateways, and delicate ornamentation. Their work can be seen in modern-day India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. The arches of this hand-carved console closely resemble those on the front of the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan, which was the largest mosque in the world for 313 years. It is the last of the imperial mosques built by the Mughals.
